- Application Period: The registration started on October 2, 2024, at noon ET and will close on November 5, 2024, at noon ET.
- Entry Rules: Applicants must ensure they submit only one entry during the registration period. Submitting multiple entries will lead to disqualification of all applications from that individual.
- Official Instructions: The only official resource for the DV-2026 Program Instructions is available in English as a PDF. Unofficial translations will be added to the DOS webpage as they are made available.
- Country of Eligibility: Applicants from certain dependencies or overseas territories should select their appropriate country of eligibility. For instance, natives of Macau S.A.R should select Portugal, while those from Martinique should select France.
